Mattress Elevator Bed Wedge

The Mattress Elevator Bed Wedge is designed to tilt your mattress, raising your head at a gentle slope down to the foot end of your bed. The wedge is designed to fit under the mattress, sitting on top of the ensemble, or slat base. This firm wedge in grade 23-200 foam supports your mattress across its full width, and most of its length, providing excellent stability for your chosen sleeping surface. Fitted under your spring or foam mattress, this firm foam wedge will not dip or compress, even under heavy loads.

With a gentle incline of 4.25 degrees, this range of wedges is recommended to relieve suffering from acid reflux, GERD, heartburn, POTS Syndrome, snoring or breathing problems whilst sleeping. These wedges will remain effective over many years of regular use.

Your choice of elevating wedge from this range will allow you to sleep on your chosen mattress surface and in your favourite positions, as usual. Though made from a firm foam, it is also of suitable quality to be placed on top of the mattress and to be slept on directly if preferred. This option is likely, for most users, to require a soft foam overlay / topper to soften the feel of the firm foam wedge surface.

For ease of handling and flexibility of use the double, queen and king size wedges are supplied in 2 pieces. Each is available separately covered, or as raw foam only as shown. Covers are sewn in knitted mattress fabrics in patterns available at the time we make them. Covers are zipped around three sides and so are easily removable for washing as required.

Elevator Bed Wedge dimensions are shown here. Please note that the height at the high end of each is 150mm running down to 20mm at the foot end.

Before buying, please consider .....

The most suitable height for a bed wedge is a very personal thing. The height of our bed wedge is 150mm (15cm or 6”). To make sure this will suit your requirements, can we suggest you try the following if possible. If your bed frame allows it, try putting bricks or blocks amounting to approximately 150mm high under the two legs at the pillow end. Then try sleeping on your bed for a few nights and see if that is comfortable. If so, then please place your order and we will make it happen for you.

All of the above wedges have an angle of slope of 4.25 degrees. In situations where a steeper incline is required check our shorter and steeper Reflux Bed Wedge

WARRANTY These Mattress Elevator wedges will give many years of comfort and relief, and are fully guaranteed for three years of regular use.

INSTRUCTIONS for use. All new foam, including the wedges that we make, give off some smell when removed from their packaging. Wedges, overlays, and new mattresses all can be left in the open to air for a day or two if the new foam smell is noticeable or is likely to cause irritation.

Very pleased with elevator bed wedge

We are very pleased with the elevator bed wedge. It is comfortable placed under our mattress and seems like a very easy way to raise the head of the bed.

Thanks for letting us know Margaret. We wish you many good nights of sleep well into the future. SB

Reduced a few problems

The product has worked for us. It has reduced my wife’s coughing from ‘silent’ reflux (yes it’s a condition) reduced my reflux and both of us snore less…well apparently I still snore a bit. Overall, we’re sleeping better and waking up more refreshed. Haven’t slid down to the bottom of the bed yet so I’d say that the angle is about right.

We appreciate receiving your feedback Ron. Thank you, and best wishes for many more good nights of sleep. SB

Not high enough

I purchased this as I suffer from reflux but the wedge mattress at this height, 15cm, is not fixing the problem. I’ve added cushions underneath the wedge mattress to bring the height to 20-21 cm & I pleased to find that I get no reflux at this height.
However I’m very disappointed that I need to do that given that I’ve spent $330 for the mattress & cover & delivery to Wollongong NSW.
My advice, check before you buy, that the 15 cm height will fix your reflux problem.
The mattress seems good quality & the cover is worth the extra spend, it’s lovely.
