Ritetack is a premium quality industrial adhesive. It is an instant-grab, high-modulus polymer adhesive, which cures under the influence of atmospheric humidity. The
product is odourless and silicone, solvent, phthalate, PVC and isocyanides free. It is white in colour.
Ritetack is suitable for use on Polystyrene, and with most products used in building and construction. These include, timber, concrete, glass and mirrors, natural and finished stone, plaster, porcelain, PVC and various hard plastics, ceramic tiles, enamel, copper, lead, zinc, aluminium, stainless steel, and cement fibre boards.
Industry applications include internal and external building, constuction and home situations. Examples include, signage panels, construction panels, skirting boards, windowsills, mirrors and isolating materials. Also used in construction industries for adhesion in car bodies, marine, steel fabrication, transport and structural bonding in vibrating situations. (Always test adhesion prior to application).
• Extreme high initial tack
• Non-staining
• No need for fixings or support during curing
• High strength, high E-modulus, and high mechanic resistance
• Zero isocyanates, phthalates, solvents and silicones
• Durable elastic performance
• No shrinkage, and bubble-free
• Non-corrosive to metals
• Neutral curing, almost odourless, paintable
• Good resistance to weather and moisture
• Adheres perfectly without primer on most, (including damp), surfaces.
Surfaces must be clean and solid. If necessary use a primer to prepare the surface. Rite Adhesives cure with atmospheric humidity, so apply as an adhesive in narrow stripes rather than large lumps. Test Ritetack adhesion prior to application.
In most situations use white spirits to clean. To be used immediately before it dries. Hardened sealant can only be removed mechanically. To clean hands use soap and water.
• Not suitable for use on PE (polyethylene based products), PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene, teflon and bituminous substrates.
• Not suitable for continuous exposure to water.
• Not suitable for movement joints.
• Not paintable with alkyd resin paint.
• Porous surfaces must be pre-treated with primer.
