Foam Sales' Soft Fall Safe-Landing Mat is a versatile and practical aid for gyms, play centres and home use, and in any situation requiring a mat providing a soft fall, or safe playing surface. Use under bars and rings, around play houses and low climbing walls, or as a safety mat for your toddler.
The mat comes in a choice of two thicknesses - 40mm and 50mm. Each contains a firm, yet impact-absorbing, closed cell foam core with zipped PVC cover. The surface is firm and stable for walking and landing purposes, while providing excellent impact absorption and comfort when moving around on the mat, and when falling from heights.
The 50mm mats are tested for use at heights up to 1.6m - see the Test Certificate. (For fall heights greater than 1.6m see our Landing Mats, and Crash Mat ranges). The 50mm mats in this range have a textured anti-slip surface on the pvc, similar to that on our larger Folding Mat. The 40mm mats have a plain pvc cover surface, and are not rated for fall height certification.
The blue PVC covers are waterproof, and are highly durable. They are easily cleaned by hosing or wiping down. The mats are suitable for use inside or outside, and can be left outdoors for long periods without fading or deterioration.
